Villa Park known as "the hidden jewel" is located in the center of Orange County, spanning across 2.6 square miles, it is known as Orange County´s smallest city. Except for a shopping center, the City is zoned for single-family residences.

Villa Park´s schools are actually located within the Orange Unified School District, as the city has so few residents there is not even a city newspaper. Due to the cities central location and close connection to major freeways, the myriad of cultural activities that Orange County offers are all within easy access.

Villa Park
was incorporated in 1962, but city history actually dates back to sometime around 1861. Known in it´s hay day as Mountain View, Villa Park was an agricultural area producing such desired food stuffs as grapes, walnuts, apricots, and eventually, citrus. The orange crops of the area stood to be the cities major crop for nearly 60 years. Citrus farmers are truly the ones responsible for molding Villa Park into what it is today.
